Thank-you!"
I'd like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us at last night's Block Party at Little Kin Park. Our guests came from a wide range of areas, including London, Mt. Brydges, Glencoe, West Lorne, Newbury, Rodney, Wallaceburg, and points in between, making it an unequivocal success.
We are deeply thankful to Easy Mark for providing fantastic music, Twisted Sista for serving up delicious food, Do Good Things Co for orchestrating creative and enjoyable kids' activities, especially the RC Crawl, and a special thanks to Jim Kirkwood for capturing wonderful photos of our guests. A special thank you goes to Kevin Miller, Southwest Middlesex Manager of Community Services & Facilities, for his invaluable support in making this event possible."
In my role as Chair of Your Wardsville, it would be easy for me to accept accolades for this remarkable event. However, it was truly a collaborative endeavour involving the entire Your Wardsville team. I would like to recognize and express my gratitude to Diane Ruddock, Nancy Mott, Tatiana DeNard, Tina DenBesten, Alice and Randy James, Katelyn Whittington, Sharon Wilson and Lisa Foley for their unwavering dedication and teamwork.Together, we have cultivated a community organization with Wardsville and its neighbouring areas in our hearts. If I inadvertently missed thanking anyone, please accept my apologies and know that your contributions are deeply appreciated." Jackie Reavley, Jason Fangard, Bev Corneil, Mary & Ross Snider, thankyou!
Our community has an exciting project on the horizon—the "reimagination" of Little Kin Park. Achieving this vision will necessitate the collective efforts of all of us. Last night's gathering illustrated how Little Kin Park can once again can become a central hub for our community.
I extend an open invitation to all of you to get involved with the Your Wardsville community organization. Our next meeting will be held on September 19th at St. John's Presbyterian Church at 7:00 pm. Everyone is welcome! "Please share to spread our thanks for making our Block Party at Little Kin Park a success! "
