"Wardsville Community’s Generous Support Boosts MOSA Nutrition Program"

We are so excited to share that the MOSA Nutrition Program has received an amazing $1,100, all thanks to the Wardsville Community Association’s silent auction. This donation really shows how much our community supports MOSA Central School and its students.

Nancy Mott proudly handed over the check to Principal Kelly Fortney, with students Leigha Talbot and Isabella Cordeiro there to share in the moment. This contribution will have a meaningful impact on our Nutrition Program and support the overall well-being of our students.

A big thank-you to everyone who made this possible—our amazing donors, bidders, businesses, citizens, and friends of Wardsville. Your support means everything to the Wardsville Community Association and to MOSA Central School!

"Big Thanks for Big Donations to Wardsville Museum!"

Our local historian, Ken Willis, was so grateful to accept a check from Nancy Mott, secretary of the Your Wardsville Community Association, from a portion of the proceeds from the "2024 Silent Auction." The Wardsville Museum received an amazing $880!

Ken wants to express his heartfelt thanks to all the citizens and businesses who donated such wonderful items and to the amazing people who purchased them. Moments like these show the true community spirit and the strong support our locals and friends have for the Wardsville Museum.

Auction test (Responses)

Bobby Fisher’s butter tarts are back for our silent auction this year, and if you remember last year, you know these treats are more than just delicious—they’re part of what makes Wardsville so special. Last year, a dozen of Bobby’s tarts went for $110, and we’re hoping to do even better this year!

Bobby may not have spent much time in the Historical Wardsville Museum or remember when it was the library, but he gets what really matters: community. His heart is always in Wardsville, whether it’s supporting our kids or preserving our past. That’s why Bobby’s donating his legendary butter tarts again—this time to raise funds for two important causes: the Historical Wardsville Museum and the MOSA Central School Nutrition Program.

So, when you place your bid on Bobby's butter tarts, remember you're not just bidding on an amazing treat, you're helping preserve the spirit of our community—one tart at a time.

Bidding opens on December 3rd, so mark your calendars and get ready to show your support. Let’s make this year's silent auction just as sweet as Bobby’s tarts!

Enjoy a magical open-air carriage ride through Wardsville's beautifully lit streets, offered by the John & Rhoda Stotzfus family. This approximately one-hour ride at dusk is ideal for a cozy outing for two or a delightful family experience for four, including children. Bring along blankets and hot chocolate to make the evening extra cozy. Smoking, alcohol, and Sunday rides are not permitted.

As you travel through the village, take in the sights of the Deck the House Holiday Light Contest, where local homes compete to dazzle with their festive displays. Whether it’s a cozy evening or a family adventure, this unique experience will create cherished holiday memories!
